Healthway Farms was started by Scott Fenters, Jim Cheyne, and Rollin Throne to produce premium certified organic seed of the highest quality. Combined they have over 100 years of experience focused on seed potato production. This experience enables them to create some incredible organic produce. Healthway Farm’s organic seed potatoes are double certified through Oregon State University and the highly respected Oregon Tilth. Our fields are hand weeded and our irrigation water is from the spring-fed Williamson River. Due to its high elevation and extremely rich, fertile ground, the Klamath Basin provides excellent organic growing conditions. Our fields are certified for organic production and have been free from non organic chemicals for 30+ years. We are able to primarily use ladybugs and cover crops to control pests and weeds, and any products we use are certified acceptable for organic growing by the United States Department of Agriculture. The organic fingerling varieties we are currently offering are all of the highest quality and isolated from exposure to outside chemicals.
